Description

NA The United States Army Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG), Yuma, Arizona, intends to negotiate a firm-fixed price contract for High Speed IRIG Processors with Scanline Encoding on a sole source basis with Instrumentation Technology Systems (ITS), 19360 Business Center Drive, Northridge, California 91324-3547. The contract will consist of Contract Line Item (CLIN) 0001, quantity of six (6) each, Model 6145B High Speed IRIG Processor with Scanline Encoding, manufacturer: Instrumentation Technology Systems, 19360 B usiness Center Drive, Northridge, CA, 91324-3547. These IRIG Processors will be used as part of an exiting system at USAYPG, and must be compatible in form, fit, and function with the following equipment already in use: ITS Model 6088A Video Encorder (h ttp://www.itsamerica.com/stndalon.htm), ITS Video Decorder Model 6142A (http://www.itsamerica.com/Technical_Descriptions/6142Afly.pdf), BrashearLP Model 712450-2 (http://www.brashearlp.com). The Model 6145B Encorder will work in concert with the ITS Model 6088A video encoder insofar as it will receive IRIG B from the 6088A and accept the same parallel data as the 6088A from the BrashearLP shaft-angle encoder Readout Chassis Model 712450-2 for video encoding of azimuth and elevation data for BrashearLP KTM systems. The Model 6145B maintains compatibility with the ITS video decoder Model 6142A, which decodes video encoded data for use in da ta reduction/scoring of NTSC format video-taped testing events. Pursuant to FAR Part 12 and 13, this acquisition will be made under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334310 with a size standard of 750 employees. Responses other than ITS may identify their interest in providing the requirement by submitting a proposal by way of an email to laura.stjohn@yuma.army.mil. Responses must demonstrate your ability to provide a product that will be completely compatible in form, fit and function with the existing equipment listed above. Delivery will be made within 90 days after date of award. Responses must be received by 4:00 p.m. Arizona time, 04 September 2003.
