Description

NA Furnish and install one Computer Numerically Controlled External cylindrical Grinding Machine at Anniston Army Depot. The machine shall have computer numerically controlled axes and shall have, as a minimum, the following machine characteristics: Center t o center capacity , 48 inches, Swing (part diameter),14 inches, Workpiece weight, 1200 lbs, wheel diameter , 24 inches, wheel width , 6 inches, wheel spindle horsepower , 20, wheel head angle (fixed) , 30 degrees, work head , live and dead center, table s wivel , minus 2 to plus 5 degrees, centers taper , #5 morse, tailstock taper , #5 morse. Complete specifications are included in the solicitation package. This solicitation is UNRESTRICTED. North American Industrial Classification System is 333512. Size standard is 500 employees. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.501, 5.102(a)(7) and 14.205-1(c), therefore hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issu e date by accessing the following address via the Internet https://www.anadprocnet.army.mil (Doing Business with Us). Estimated issue date is 18 Sep 03. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above Internet address in order to obtain any amendments, which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejections of same. All unrestricted sources may subm it a proposal, which shall be considered.
