Description

The National Park Service anticipates issuing a Prospectus for marina operations at Curecanti National Recreation Area, Colorado. On Friday September 12, 2003, the National Park Service will conduct a site visit of concession facilities at Elk Creek Marina and Lake Fork Marina. The site visit will begin at 10:00 A.M. at the Park Administrative Office at Elk Creek located 16 miles west of Gunnison, Colorado on Highway 50. Interested parties must R.S.V.P. by Tuesday September 9, 2003. The site visit is not required to submit a proposal for the Prospectus, but attendance is encouraged. The restaurant will be closed in early September and the marinas will be disassembled for winter storage by the first of October. No questions specific to the Prospectus will be entertained during the site visit. Interested parties must R.S.V.P. by September 9, 2003, for the site visit, to Schelle Frye, Chief of Administration and Concessions, Curecanti National Recreation Area, at (970) 641-2337 extension 229, schelle_frye@nps.gov. The marinas generally operate from early May to early October. The annual gross receipts for this contract averaged $898,000 from 1999 to 2001.
