Description

The Government intends to negotiate a sole source firm fixed price type contract to Kalmar Industries, Inc. for lease and/or purchase of one (1) Kalmar Forklift DCB28RORO. This equipment is required for the Navy Cargo and Port Handling Group (NAVCHAPGRU) located at Cheathem Annex Naval Base, Williamsburg, Virginia. This procurement is being made using FAR Part 13.5, Test Program for Commercial Items. The North American Industry Classification System Code is 333924 ? industrial truck, tractor, trailer, and stacker machinery manufacturing. The solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will only be available by downloading the documents at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. This office will no longer issue hard copy solicitations. By submitting a proposal, the vendor will be self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any Federal Agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the proposal.
