Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The announcement constitutes the only solicitation, proposals are being requested and a written document will not be issued. The Department of Commerce, NOAA intends to solicit and negotiate with only Bellsouth, P. O. Box 740144, Atlanta, GA 30374-0144 on a sole source basis for month to month service of T-3 Abilene Connection between NCDC and UNC-Asheville for the period of October 1, 2003 through September 30, 2004. The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-15. The applicable NAICS number is 518111; small business size standard is $21 million annually. This is an unrestricted procurement. The contract will be awarded using Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13.5. Closing dates for receipt of quotes is 09 September 2003, 4 PM ESDT. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which shall be considered. Offerors must have valid DUNS Numbers and be registered with CCR.
