Description

The Department of Commerce, Commerce Information Technology Solutions Office has a requirement to purchase maintenance support for NCR proprietary software operating at the Office of Computer Services. This requirement intends to be a sole-source procurement to NCR Government Systems Corporation, 20370 Seneca Meadows Parkway, Germantown, MD 20876. A Justification and Approval is being processed for this requirement. This requirement is to purchase maintenance support for a NCR COMTEN Government owned processor and nine installed software licenses. This is a simplified acquisition and shall be procured under FAR Part 13. Maintenance services will be conducted at the Office of Computer Services, in Springfield, VA and shall commence on October 1, 2003. To be considered, all interested parties must submit technical literature describing their capability to comply with this requirement, as well as terms and conditions and a complete price quote by Friday, September 5, 2003 to Chiara Alsop at calsop@doc.gov. All technical literature must be submitted in the English language. No solicitation exists and requests for the copy of the solicitation will be ignored unless a solicitation is subsequently issued. All response from responsible sources will be fully considered. Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract, based upon response to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. The contract shall be Firm-Fixed Price (FFP). See note 22.
