Description

NA HQ, Joint Munitions Command intends to award a sole source contract to Tooele County Corporation, Tooele, UT, for County Landfill Disposal Support for solid waste (general refuse and minor construction debris) generated by troops, employees and contractor personnel at Tooele Army Depot and Deseret Chemical Depot. Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, only one source is qualified and no other source will satisfy the agency requirements. The only source previously approved by the government for these items is being solicited. This notice of intent to purchase is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Info rmation received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a future competitive procurement.
