- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial BRAND NAME NO SUBSTIUTION items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement is for a fixed price contract for (1) line item as follows: CLIN 0001 (752 EA)(PALCON) CONTAINERS: NSN 8115-01-371-3690. MANUFACTURER IS PLASTICS RESEARCH CORPORATION. MANUFACTURER PART NUMBER IS 51489-102440-101. SIZE FOR CONTAINERS IS 48 INCHES IN LENGHT, BY 40 INCHES WIDTH, BY 47 INCHES IN HEIGHT. PALCONS ARE MADE OUT OF FIBERGLASS REINFORCED PLASTIC, (FRP). PLEASE PRICE OUT FULL INSERTS, HALF INSERTS, AND RACKS AS ACCESSORIES. FOR DELIVERY TO UNITS LOCATED AT MARINE COPRS BASE, CAMP PENDLETON, CALIFORNIA. The solic itation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-02 and DAC 91-13. All responsible sources may submit a quote. All Contractors submitting a quotation are reminded that you must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database to be considered for award. The website for CCR is http://www.ccr.gov The following provision (s) apply to this acquisition. FAR 52.212-1 Instructions To Offerors ? Commercial Items (MAR 2000), FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms & Conditions ? Commercial Items (MAY 1999), FAR 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders ? Commercial Items with the following applicable clauses for Para (b) apply to this acquisition: (12), (13), (14), (15), (24). The following DFAR Clauses apply to this acquisition: DFAR 252.212-7001 Contract Term s and Conditions required to implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisition of Commercial Items with the following applicable Clauses for Para (b): DFAR 252.225-7036 North American Free Trade Agreement Implementation Act; DFAR 252.232-7009 Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer. Quotations are solicited FOB Destination to Camp Pendleton CA. Delivery is required for all items on or before 30 Oct 2003. Ship To: Camp Pendleton CA 92055. The government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest price technically acceptable quotation. Quotations shall be submitted no later than 1200 PST 3 SEPT 2003 to SSgt Marquez via fax or mail. Faxed quotes should be addressed to SSgt Marquez 760-725-4346/8445, and clearly state the solicitation number on the first page to ensure receipt. Quoters bear the burden of ensuring that all pages of the quote reach the designated office before the deadline specified in the solicitation.
