- Description
- The Bureau of Engraving and Printing is seeking qualified sources of supply for performance of a facility risk assessment. This effort will, for the most part, concern a review of physical property (buildings, roads, perimeters, security access systems) rather than Information Technology assets. The BEP will not consider awarding separate contracts for the physical infrastructure and IT infrastructure portions of the risk assessment to two separate contractors. The BEP has identified a GSA-sponsored program entitled "Federal Security Risk Management" and associated FSR Manager software copyrighted by ARA Corporation as one means of meeting this requirement. The BEP desires further information on other available products before potentially proceeding with a sole source to ARA. If your firm has participated in such a program and has developed such software for other Federal agencies, please forward this office sufficient information for the BEP to make a judgement as to whether or not to request a demo of another available product from your firm. Also, the BEP would desire to know whether or not the program services and software product are available under an existing Federal Government IDIQ contract such as MOBIS or a GSA Federal Supply Schedule. An electronic response to this notice is acceptable; however, please contact this office prior to e-mailing any file larger than 1MB as it could adversely affect the recipient's mailbox capacity. Point of contact is George Robertson at 202-874-3255, or e-mail george.robertson@bep.treas.gov. Responses are due by Sept 17, 2003. If hand-carried, the address for receipt of proposals is the BEP employee entrance on 14th and C Streets, SW, Washington, DC 20228 across the street from the visitor entrance. Anyone hand-carrying information must be instructed by your firm to call the procurement office at 874-3255 and wait for pickup of a package or envelope. The security officers will not accept delivery of any items.
