- NOTICE: BEFORE REPLYING TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT POTENTIAL OFFERORS MUST EITHER CURRENTLY POSSESS A DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE (DOD) TOP SECRET FACILITY CLEARANCE AND HAVE PERSONNEL CLEARED AT THE TOP SECRET LEVEL, OR BE ABLE TO OBTAIN A DOD TOP SECRET FACILITY CLEARANCE AND PERSONNEL CLEARANCES NO LATER THAN THE DATE OF CONTRACT AWARD (THE TARGET DATE OF AWARD IS 31 AUGUST 2003),OR THEY WILL BE INELIGIBLE FOR AWARD. ALL INTERESTED OFFERORS MEETING THE ABOVE CRITERIA MUST RESPOND IN WRITING TO THIS SYNOPSIS VIA E-MAIL TO barrp@nima.mil. E-MAIL RESPONSE MUST INCLUDE THE COMPANY NAME, CONTACT PERSON, PHONE NUMBER (INCLUDING AREA CODE), E-MAIL ADDRESS, AND FAX NUMBER (INCLUDING AREA CODE). NO TELEPHONE REQUESTS ACCEPTED. The National Imagery and Mapping Agency (NIMA) proposes to award a Firm Fixed Price Award Fee contract with Time and Material and Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity provisions which provide for base operation services for NIMA's Arnold, Missouri facility located at 3838 Vogel Road, Arnold, Mo. The period of performance will be for a one-year base period and six (6) option years. The services include: Facilities equipment operation and maintenance, construction, janitorial services, pest management, snow/ice removal, grounds maintenance, management of NIMA's safety program, refuse collection and disposal, recycling, and classified waste destruction. The NAICS code is 56120, $6,000,000. A target site visit date is 23 April 2003. See solicitation for exact date and location of site visit. Proposals will consist of providing both written material and an oral presentation. Proposals shall be evaluated and scored using the following criteria in descending order of importance: Management Resources, Past Performance, Price, and Quality Control Program to determine the best value to the Government. Since subcontracting opportunities exist, it is suggested that small business firms or others interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with this procurement make direct contact with prospective prime contractors early in the procurement stages. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which will be considered. The proposed solicitation is unrestricted. At the Government's discretion, the solicitation documents, performance work statements, drawings, and forms may be sent either e-mail, compact disc (read only), or in paper copies, or any combination of the above.
