- Description
- The purpose of this annnouncement is to obtain capabilities statements for selecting organizations to develop design concepts and technical ideas that will sustain the operation of ARSR-1, ARSR-2 and FPS series long-range radars for a period of up to 15 years in support of homeland security and national defense missions. The procurement method will use "Other Transaction Authority", pursuant to 49 USC 106(1)(6). It is not intended to result in a contract, but rather an agreement. The FAA intends to make a final selection of organizations based on its best professional judgment, in its sole discretion and best interest. Please refer to the selection criteria in the SIR.
