Description
A project in Clear Creek and Park Counties, Colorado, is tentatively scheduled for advertisement in October 2003. This advanced notice is being given because weather and site conditions may prevent contractor viewing at the time of advertising for bids. Representatives from the Federal Highway Administration will conduct a site visit on Wednesday, September 24, 2003, from 8:30 a.m. to approximately 4:30 p.m. A brief overview of the day?s proposed schedule will be presented followed by the site visit. A formal question and answer session will be held immediately following the site visit at the Community Center in Georgetown. Questions will only be answered during the formal Q/A session. Minutes will be distributed at the time of advertisement as an appendix to the solicitation. Preliminary plan sets will be available for review during the site visit but will be collected during the Q/A session. This project begins approximately 15 kilometers (9.3 miles) north of the town of Grant and continues for approximately 14.2 kilometers (8.8 miles) to the north.
