- Description
- The Naval Sea Logistics Center Detachment Atlantic (NAVSEALOGCEN DET LANT) supports the Shipyard Management Information System (SYMIS) Financial and Industrial Applications that operate at the Naval Shipyards. Recently, NSLC has been tasked to convert one of the Industrial Applications ? the Automated Training Management System (ATMS) from a client/server version to a web version. To facilitate this, NAVSEALOGCEN DET LANT) is seeking GSA Schedule 70, Special Item No. 132-51 contractors who are CERTIFIED and highly skilled in analysis, design, developing and programming using MACROMEDIA FLASH MX, MACROMEDIA DREAMWEAVER MX, MACROMEDIA COLDFUSION MX development tools in the hardware and software environments identified below. ATMS is the application currently being used at the Naval Shipyards to manage and maintain the training and qualifications of shipyard employees. The ATMS Application maintains a catalog of all shipyard courses, attributes and qualifications. It maintains information related to crediting employees who have taken a course or attribute. The ATMS application?s hardware consists of a SUN server connected by an Ethernet LAN with multiple Windows NT and Windows 2000 workstations of various makes and models attached. This configuration is currently operating in client/server mode with a Windows NT workstation running data retrieval and presentation tools against an Oracle database. The ATMS application?s software consists of the following: Solaris Operating System, Delphi 2, Oracle Relational Database Management System (RDBMS) Release 8.1.7, SQL*NET, SQL*PLUS, PL/SQL, and Professional Version Control System (PVCS). The Government On-Site place of performance is the Naval Sea Logistics Center Detachment Atlantic located at the Nava l Surface Warfare Center Building 1581 Indian Head, Maryland 20640.GSA Schedule contractor team arrangements are permitted in accordance with FAR 9.6.The system shall be designed to meet DoD Information Technology Security Certification and Accreditation Process (DITSCAP) specifications, which will support AES encryption as well as all Federal technological interoperability standards. Section 508 compatible solutions are required. All GSA Schedule 70, Special Item No. 132-51 contractors that have personnel CERTIFIED in using Macromedia Flash MX, Macromedia Dreamweaver MX and Macromedia ColdFusion MX are encouraged to reply to this RFI. Companies should electronically submit their responses to Kathy Boone on booneke@navsea.navy.mil on or before September 8, 2003. Responses shall include GSA Schedule information, resumes and references relating to recent experience using pers onnel meeting the specific qualifications detailed in this RFI.
