- Description
- NAICS Code: 336311 In accordance with FAR Part 13, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Office of Transportation and Air Quality (OTAQ) in Ann Arbor, Michigan, is seeking to establish a Blanket Purchasing Agreement to fabricate and/or modify various exhaust components of a catalyst system used in engine testing. The components of the catalyst system to be fabricated or modified include a wide variety of a broad class, but the exact design of the components, the exact number of components and the exact delivery requirements are not known. The catalyst system is a multi-pass system consisting of a flow diverter valve, flow paths consisting of individual catalyst cans, diverging and converging cones, and a collector. Purchase orders placed against the BPA will include the cost of the component itself (established in the BPA) and a cost for the labor to fabricate or modify the component as appropriate. The cost of labor will be established via fixed hourly rates for service (established in the BPA). The system components that may need to be fabricated or modified include: Valve elbow adaptor; Reducer concentric upstream; Catalyst canister; Reducer concentric downstream; Sensor elbow assembly; and Collector assembly. The resultant BPA will not exceed neither $100,000 nor three (3) years. This procurement is a small business set-aside under NAICS code 336311 with a size standard of 500 employees. A request for quote is anticipated to be issued by September 18, 2003. Parties interested in receiving a copy of the RFQ should fax a request to Mr. David Plagge at (513) 487-2107 or send an e-mail to plagge.david@epa.gov . All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency.
