MODIFICATION TO PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE F02601-03-R-0014 TITLE: REPAIR AND MAINTAIN ELEVATORS @ DAVIS-MONTHAN AFB, AZ: The purpose of this modification is to change the Pre-Solicitation number and the anticipated proposal receipt date information as it pertains to Pre-Solicitation No. F02601-03-R-0014, originally posted on 9 Aug 2003 (modified on 15 and 19 Aug 03). REMINDER: Pre-Solicitation Number “F02601-03-R-0014” posted 9 Aug 2003, was changed to “F02601-03-T-0015”. Anticipated receipt date for F02601-03-T-0015 (previously F02601-03-R-0014) was “21 August 2003 @ 3:00PM” and then changed to “26 Aug 2003 @ 3:00 PM” is now changed to “8 Sep 2003 at 3:00 PM”. All other terms and conditions of Pre-Solicitation F02601-03-R-0014 (now F02601-03-T-0015) remain unchanged. Contractor shall furnish all plant, labor, supervision, parts, tools, lodging, materials, equipment and transportation necessary to inspect, maintain, and repair elevators: one (1) Single-Button Collective Hydraulic, (7) Hydraulic and (1) Cable-Driven; located at various buildings located at Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ, IAW requirements of the Statement of Work (SOW) dated 7 Aug 2003. Work is described as cleaning, oiling, adjusting, calibrating, replacing parts and accomplishing minor repairs as indicated in the SOW. Routine service shall consist of each vertical transportation unit being inspected, cleaned, oiled, adjusted, calibrated and repaired, as necessary, IAW American National Standards Institute / American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ANSI/ASME) A 17.1-1996, National Electric Code (NEC) 99 and National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 70. The base period of performance will be October 1, 2003, through September 30, 2004, with four one-year option periods. This solicitation is set-aside exclusively for Small Business firms. The applicable NAICS Code for this solicitation is 333921 and the corresponding size standard for SIC 3534 is 500 employees. This solicitation will be issued as a commercial format Request for Proposals, offers will be evaluated based on price. This solicitation will be issued on or about August 13, 2003. It will be available only via the Electronic Procurement System (www.fedbizopps.gov). Anticipated receipt date for proposals is 21 August 2003. A site visit has been tentatively scheduled for 19 August 2003 at 1:00PM. This acquisition is a 100% set-aside for small business firms. No bidders mailing list will be maintained. Telephone requests will not be honored. No paper copies will be furnished.
