Description

NA The Southern Region Contracting Center, Fort McPherson, GA intends to procure on a sole-source basis from Oxford Instruments Inc., 130 A Baker Avenue Ext. Concord, MA 01742, maintenance support to Oxford Instruments Model number ISIS300/SEM Si(LI)//WDX400 Serial number 32676. Oxford Instrument Company is the only known company that is authorized to maintain and repair the Spectroscopy System. This announcement is to serve as a Sources Sought Solicitation for other offorers capable to provide and maintain an d repair for this equipment. The North American Industry Classification System code is 811219 with $6.0 million size standards. The contract shall be a firm fixed priced contract. FOB Destination, Fort Gillem, GA shall apply. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The request for quote number is DABK01-03-T-BW02. All interested parties shall e-mail Mrs. Bonnie Westbrook at bonnie.westbrook@us.army.mil and indicate their interest and capability to receive a Statement of Work. Quote is due 15 September 2003 no later than 2:00 p.m. (local Eastern Standard time) to: bonnie.westbrook@us.army.mil and anticipated award by 30 September 2003. In order to be eligible for award firm s must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR). Quoters may obtain information on registration in the CCR by calling 1-888-227-2423, or via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. Please note that defense payment offices may not make payment unl ess the contractor is established to receive electronic funds transfer (EFT). EFT payments are based on the contractor's EFT information contained in the CCR database. This advertisement/RFQ is the only document that will be issued.
