Description

This synopsis and solicitation is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for the following commercial items, 0001) KIP-20 Kingsley Interface Printer – or equal – 1 each 0002) Printing Wheel X 6 RW-38K – or equal – 1 each 0003) Wire Fixture Part # WFC – 80 – or equal – 1 each 0004) 3-Inch Ribbon Part # K5203.0X600 FT – or equal – 2 each. Suggested source – Kingsley Machine Company. This solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). Submit written offers (oral offers will not be accepted), on RFQ F1726A32250300. All firms or individuals responding must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-14 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-13. North American Industrial Classification Standard 333518, Size Standard 500 employees, applies to this procurement. FOB: Destination for delivery to 84 Bomber Rd, Bldg 1788, Mountain Home AFB, ID 83648. The following provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition: FAR 52-211.6 Brand Name or Equal. FAR 52.203 Gratuities. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors—Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation. The clause at FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders—Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation. Specifically the following clauses cited are applicable to this solicitation: 52.203-6 Restrictions on Subcontractor Sales to the Government. FAR 52.219-14, Limitations on Subcontracting. FAR 52.222-21, Prohibition of Segregated Facilities. FAR 52.222-26, Equal Opportunity; FAR 52.222-35, Affirmative Action for Disabled Veterans and Veterans of the Vietnam Era; FAR 52.222-36, Affirmative Action for Handicapped Workers; FAR 52.222-37, Employment Reports on Disabled Veterans and Veterans of the Vietnam Era; FAR 52.225-13 -Restrictions on Certain Foreign Purchases. (DEVIATION), FAR 52.232-33 - Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer--Central Contractor Registration. The clause at DFARS 252.212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders applicable to Defense Acquisition of Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation. Specifically, the following clauses, cited are applicable to this solicitation; DFARS 252.205-7000 Provision of Information to Cooperative Agreement Holders. DFARS 252.225-7012 Preference for Certain Domestic Commodities. DFARS 252.225-7014 Preference for Domestic Specialty Metals. DFARS 252.225-7015 Restriction on Acquisition of Hand or Measuring Tools. DFARS 252.232-7003 Electronic Submission of Payment Requests. DFARS 252.243-7002 Requests for Equitable Adjustment. DFARS 252.247-7023 Transportation of Supplies by Sea. Must include a completed copy of the provision at DFARS 252.225-7001, Buy American Act and Balance of Payment Program. The clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation.
