Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR SubPart 12.6. The 319th Contracting Squadron at Grand Forks AFB, ND intends to award a purchase order for the purchase of a portable imaging system. Requirement is as follows: PORTABLE IMAGING SYSTEM (ULTRASOUND) WITH THERMAL PRINTER AND CONVEX TRANSDUCER Aloka Model SSD-500V or equal. SPECIFICATIONS Scanning method: Electronic convex sector scanning Electronic linear scanning Display Mode: B-mode, M-Mode B and B dual display mode B and M dual display mode Ultrasound beam focus: 4-point dynamic focusing Acoustic Lens Viewing Monitor: 7-inch diagonal black and white TV monitor With non-refection filter Image control: GAIN continuously variable STC NEAR/FAR Image process Gamma correction(only for B-Mode image) Frame correlation M-mode Sweep speed: Selectable-1,2,4, or 8 seconds/screen (2,4, or 8 seconds/screen on B/M mode) Magnifications: 4 steps (linear) 8 steps (convex) Gray shades: 256 levels Measurement and Calculating function: On B mode Distance, Area Circumierance Ratio Angle, Gestational age Fetal weight On M mode Distance, Time interval Velocity, Heart rate Pombo, Telchhotz Build in GA tables for animals: 6 tables Gestational table: User setting possible Video Output: TV standard video output 525 or 625 lines/frame Power requirement: AC100 to 120V, 200 to 240V, +10% 50/00HZ. Dimensions: Approx. 29(W)x29(D)x 32(H) cm Weight: Approx. 10kg Safety Regulation: Complies with IEC 801-1 Class 1, Type BF ETL listed product This acquisition will be accomplished in accordance with (IAW) Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) and will be based on competitive quotes. This acquisition is 100% small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 423450; size standard of 500 employees. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors – Commercial, 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions – Commercial, applies to this acquisition. Offerors must include with their quotation a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial items (July 2002) and DFARS 252.212-7000, Offeror Representations and Certification, Commercial Items (Nov 1995). In accordance with DFARS 252.204-7004, Required Central Contract Registration (Nov 2001), prior to receiving any contract award, contractors must be currently registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested, and a written (paper/hard copy) solicitation will not be issued.
