- Description
- VA Connecticut Healthcare System intends to negotiate a sole source procurement with Scientific Solutions Consulting, 5563 Seminary Road, Suite 112, Falls Church, VA 22041 to acquire a strenth measurement system. The strength measurement system shall consist of a data acquisition system and a strenth testing system which will include fully adjustable 6-degrees of fredom load cell assembly, capable of testing right or left legs, simultaneous identification of torque generated along knee flexion-extension, hip flexion-extension, hip internal-external and hip abduction-adduction axes. The system will be required to serially collect and analyze motor and coordination data from subjects while they are positioned in the physiologically appropriate, for gait, standing posture. This procurement is under the authority of FAR 6.302. All responses received by 12:00pm (local time) on September 8, 2003 will be considered by VA. A determination based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of VA. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a comptetitive procurement.
