- THIS IS A COMBINED SYNPOSIS/SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FORMAT IN FAR SUBPART 12.6 STREAMLINED PROCEDURES FOR EVALUATION AND SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS ? AS SUPPLEMENTED WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION INCLUDED IN THIS NOTICE. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTATIONS ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICIATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED: The Solicitation Number is F44650-03-T-0033 and this solicitation is a Request for Quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Circular (FAC 2001-15) are incorporated. This requirement is Full and Open Competition. Holders of GSA schedules who can fulfill this requirement should submit proposals. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for procurement is 332992, the RFQ is unrestricted. ***ACC Contracting Squadron, LAFB, VA, has a requirement for MAJCOMS to use Simunition? Training Guidance and FX ? Marking Cartridge Conversion Kits for Security Forces Training. These items were tested and have been used in the Army and Navy since 1993. The requirement is for brand name or equal, from Simunitions Inc., Law Enforcement and Security Equipment. LINE ITEM 0001: Quantity (132 each), FX M4A1 Carbine Conversion Kit, Flat Top w/one 20 round magazine. Part number 5305655. LINE ITEM 0002: Quantity (44 each) FX Beretta Conversion Kit, LINE ITEM 0003: Quantity (160 each), FX M4/M16 Conversion Kit Magazine, 20 round capability, Part Number 5308310SP. LINE ITEM 0004: Quantity (264 each) FX 800 Protective Mask, Part Number 8970017. LINE ITEM 0005: Quantity (264 each) Throat Protector (Small/Medium ? 270), Part Number 8971195 (Large/XL ? 260), Part Number 8771196. LINE ITEM 0006: Quantity (55 each), Marking Cartridges, Red (100 rd case), Part Number 5300432. LINE ITEM 0007, Quantity (55 each), FX Marking Cartridges, Blue (1000 rd case). LINE ITEM 0008: Quantity (1 each), Shipping and Handling to Langley AFB, VA.***The contractor shall state the warranty coverage provided for all line items. ***Delivery shall be FOB destination to Langley Air Force Base. Items 0001-0004 to HQ ACC/SFXP, 220 Sweeney Blvd, Ste 177, Langley AFB VA 23665, Items 0006-0007 to 1 SFS/SFTA, 65 Sweeney Blvd, ATTN: SF Armory, Langley AFB VA 23665. The contractor shall pack and mark the shipment in conformance with carrier requirements, deliver the shipments in good order and condition to the point of delivery specified in the contract, be responsible for any loss of and/or damage to the goods occurring before receipt and acceptance of the shipment by the consignee at the delivery points specified in the purchase order; and pay all charges to the specified point of delivery.***The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, and other factors considered in accordance with FAR 52-212-2.
