- NEW LIBRARY FURNISHINGS The Operational Contracting Branch of ASC has a requirement to purchase furnishings for the new Library. This is a synopsis for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation #F33601-03-T-0238 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This acquisition is 100% Set-Aside for Small Business. The associated NAICS is 337211. This RFQ has fifteen line items. The items being acquired is Office Furniture for the new Library. Inside delivery is required and items are to be uncrated. FOB point is Destination. Installation will be required. FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors? Commercial, applies to this acquisition. Evaluation will be based on best value (price, past performance and quality). The offeror will submit a copy of the Past Performance Questionnaire (attached hereto) to three references with instructions to send completed questionnaires to the Contracting Specialist, Barbara P. Jemmott, NOT LATER THAN 8 SEPT 03. The address label shall reflect the following information: Solicitation F33601-03-T-0238 ?To be delivered to the proposal address above. Past Performance Questionnaires may also be faxed to (937) 257-3926 (ATTN: Barbara P. Jemmott). The Government will use information submitted by the offeror as well as other sources to conduct its Past Performance Survey. All quoters are to include with their quotes a completed copy of Provision 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications --Commercial Items. Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions--Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. Clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders? Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. (for paragraph (b), the following clauses apply: 52.222-21, Prohibition of Segregated Facilities; 52.222-26, Equal Opportunity; 52.222-35, Affirmative Action for Disabled Veterans and Veterans of Vietnam Era; 52.222-36, Affirmative Action for Workers with Disabilities; 52.222-37, Employment Reports on Disabled Veterans and Veterans of the Vietnam Era; Buy American Act--Supplies; 52.232-33, Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer-Central Contractor Registration). Clause 52-204-6, Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) Number, applies to this acquisition. The following DFARS Clauses apply to this acquisition: DFARS 252.212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders--Commercial Items (for paragraph (b), the following applies: 252-225-7001, Buy American Act and Balance of Payments Program); 252-204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration. Copies of all provisions and clauses, including Representations and Certifications, are available at http://farsite.hill.af.mil/. Contract financing will not be provided for this acquisition. Contractor must be registered in CCR prior to award. The Government will make an award from this request for quotation to the responsible quoter whose quote will be most advantageous to the Government. The Government reserves the right to not make an award at all. All quotes, Representations and Certifications are due by 3:00 PM EDT on 8 SEPT 2003, must be submitted to Barbara P.
