- NA The Directorate of Contracting Fort Campbell intends to negotiate a sole source purchase order with Self Contained Cleaning Systems (SCCS), Inc., for the follow item. Pressure Washer, Trailer and Tank, SCCS Model 5500FT518B MOD/D. The pressure washer syst em must be capable of washing vehicles, aircraft and equipment in a field environment. The pressure washer will allow each unit to conduct engine flushes, clean oil soaked hydraulic decks, and wash tail pylons, vehicles, trailers and other ground support equipment without having to move an aircraft or coordinate for wash rack space in garrison. More importantly the pressure washer will provide the unit with a deployable cleaning capability for the harsh field environments. Configurations shall include ho t/cold wash rinse; chemical injection/decon/deice; antifreeze recirculation system; high volume rinse/decon/deice and must meet the following minimum requirements: a. TRAILER MOUNTED: Must be designed to fit in a CH-47 helicopter for deployment (90 inche s wide outside wheel measurement x 126 inches Long with tongue stowed/removed x 74 inches Height at the highest point) and able to load without the use of additional ramping; b. COATING: Trailer underside and topside coated with 'Rhino Lining' 'Tuff Stuf f' polyurethane for corrosion protection; c. SELF CONTAINED TANK AND WATER SUPPLY: 525 gallon high density polyethylene water tank with high volume dump valve; 30 gallon high density polyethylene chemical tank; 12 gallon high density polyethylene chemical down line injection tank; and 8 gallon high density polyethylene chemical tank (anti-freeze injection); d. ANTI-STATIC 150 PSI DIESEL AIR COMPRESSOR: (JP 8 FUELED); e. SAFETY FEATURES: Temperature Control Protection Device, Redundant Dual Burner Contr ol, Safety Pressure Pop Off Valve, Terminal Relief Valve, Unloader Valve, Electric Brakes, Parking Brakes, Spark Arrestor and CO2 Fire Extinguisher. NAICS code for this procurement is 333912 and is to be awarded on an unrestricted basis. This sole source procurement is under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures, and Other Than Full and Open Competition. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES, however; any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification to the C ontracting Officer within 10 days from the date of the publication of this synopsis. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirements listed. Responses received will be evaluated, howev er, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion for the Government. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the sole source negotiatio n with SCCS, Inc. Responses are due by 11 Sep 2003, 2:00 p.m. (CST).
