- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Internal Revenue Service (IRS), Procurement Operations Branch, Western Area is conducting a sole source acquisition with the California Secretary of State under FAR 6.302-1. The IRS requirement is for On-Line Direct Access of Uniform Commercial Code and Federal Tax Lien information filed with the California Secretary of State. The period of performance is from 10/01/03 through 09/30/04. An indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity type contract is contemplated. Reference IRS Requisition S-4-S3-9N-FF-A02-000. Contract document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 15 effective as of 08/25/03. FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items and 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items are applicable to this acquisition. The following additional FAR clauses cited in the clause, FAR 52.203-6. Alt 1, 52.219-8, 52.219-14, 52.222-19, 52.222-21, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37, 52.225-13, and 52.232-33 are also applicable to the acquisition. Potential offerors who can fulfill this requirement are encouraged to contact Cathy P. Handy at (415) 848-4735 or via e-mail and must submit a completed copy of the FAR provision 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with its offer. In accordance with FAR 5.203(a)(2), the date, time and place for all responses are due on or before close of business on 09/10/03 at the Internal Revenue Service (A:P:F:W), 333 Market Street, Suite1400, San Francisco, CA 94105.
