- This COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION is amendeded as follows: The performance work statement is amended to delete, "For electronic data security, the contractor must include the use of Government approved/audited (e.g., NIH, CDC) computer storage systems to safeguard confidential or proprietary data." Add the following to the performance work statement: For electronic data security, the contractor must include the use of secure computer storage systems which safeguard confidential or proprietary data from both loss and unapproved access. The current government guideline for IT security (National Institute for Standards and Technology) are below. The third website is the actual guideline. This information is provided to describe secure computer storage systems.
