Description

CORRECTION: Solicitation No. GS-02P-03-PIC-0031, for the construction of an automobile and truck maintenance repair shop at the GSA Center, Federal Drive, Road 28, Guaynabo, P. R. and previously published in the FedBizOpps on August 1, 2003 is hereby updated to advise prospective bidders of the following information: Description of Work: Construction renovation shall include, but is not limited to, the architectural, mechanical, electrical, structural, and fire protection work. The primary elements of the building include a vehicle open bay area, office area and toilet facilities. A Pre-bid conference and mandatory site visit will be held on Friday , September 12, 2003, at 9:00 A.M. local time. Potential bidder's should meet at the GSA Center, Building Manager's Office, Rm. 364, GSA Center, Road 28, Km. 1.1, Guaynabo, P. R. prior to the site visit. There is a visitor's parking in the building, however, limited parking may or may not be available at the time, at the facility. A valid photo driver's license is required for access to confirm identification. Section 00800, paragraph 9.05, Security clearances, is changed to incorporate additional security requirements. The security requirements are in addition to the requirements stated in paragraph 9.05. .Prospective bidders are advised that all Bid sets that have been distributed are to be returned by U.S. Mail or other carrier to the address specified in the bid documents. Return of the complete Solicitation Bid Set to the GSA is required by the Bid Opening due date. Amendment No. 1 will be sent to bidder's who have been given access to the solicitation requests after submission and verification of the Request for Construction Document (BDU) form.
