Description

The U.S. Postal Service is soliciting proposals from prequalified contractors for the security fencing project at the Los Angeles Bulk Mail Center facility. The scope of work generally consists of, but is not limited to, the following: 1) the installation of four (4) new hydraulic drive gate operators; 2) replacement of 6' fence along employee parking lot with new 8' fence; 3) replacement of 7' fence along Bandini Boulevard with 8' fence; 4) installation of new 8' fence along west property line; and 5) replacement of 7' fence near northeast corner of tent with new 8' fence. Total amount of new fencing is approximately 3,000 linear feet. Estimated cost range is $230,000 to $250,000. The work is to be completed within 90 calendar days from the notice to proceed date.
