Description

The U.S. Postal Service is soliciting proposals from prequalified contractors for the CCTV and Exterior Lighting Upgrade project at the Los Angeles Bulk Mail Center facility. The CCTV work includes the installation of four (4) pan tilt zoom CCTV cameras, thirty-six (36) fixed focus and PTZ cameras, conduit and wire, monitors, VCRs, multiplexers, and other head end equipment. Also included is the installation of a new intercom system and site work. The exterior lighting system upgrade work inclues, but is not limited to, the following: 1) the installation of ten (10) new high mast light poles, foundations, and light fixtures; 2) the installation of new lighting circuit breakers, feeders, panels, and contactors. Also included is the installation of new low mast light poles, foundations, and light fixtures, the replacement of light fixtures on existing poles as well as the demolition of selected light standards and repair of pavement. Site work includes saw cutting pavement, trenching, backfilling, and repair of asphalt and concrete pavement. Estimated cost range is $2.6 million to $3.0 million. The work is to be completed within 240 calendar days from the notice to proceed date.
