- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs, John D. Dingell Medical Center, 4646 John R. Street, Detroit, Michigan intends to negotiate with Carl Zeiss Microimaging, Inc., One Zeiss Drive, Thornwood, NY 10594, 800-633-6610 as a sole source. Carl Zeiss Microimaging, Inc. is to provide a maintenance agreemnt for the LSM 510 UV Ar Dual HeNe 4PMT, Id number 91214, serial number 850427. This proposed aontract action is for the maintenance of the confocal microscope, which the Governmnet intends to solicit and negoitate with only one source under authority FAR 6.302-1. All FAR provisions and clauses maybe reviewed and/or obtained from the General Service internet addrsss: http://www.gover/far. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the governmnet not to compete this proposal contract, based upon responses to this notice, is solely with the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All responses must be submitted no later than Friday, September 19, 2003, 4:00p.m., to the contracting officer indicated above. See numbered note 22. No e-mail request will be accepted.
