Description
The Southern Arizona VA Health Care System (SAVAHCS), Tucson, Arizona, intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Copperstate Technologies to modify, provide and install devices at various location to an existing analog Notifier addressable fire alarm system. This procurement shall also include updating and programming of NCS graphics and AVL’s as required. Contractor shall be Arizona based Notifier NESCO affiliate. Contractor shall be met qualification, certified, provide, install and service Notifier NRT’s and NCS’s integrated with AVL. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The NAICS Code is 233320 and the Small Business Size standard is $28.5 million. The existing Notifier fire alarm system encompasses in excess of 30 buildings over a 116 acre campus. The system includes 7 Notifier analog addressable control panels with 17 addressable signal line circuits, 140 forward/reverse programming zones, approximately 1000 addressable devices, 2 automatic voice link systems with approximately 75 voice trains, some 350 audio/visual devices, a Notifier Net with 5 Network reporting terminals and 2 CRT terminals and 4 printers, a Network Control System with Graphics covering all areas with analog/addressable devices. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer within ten days from the date of publication of this synopsis. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirement. Information can be sent to Tommy W. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the SAVAHCS , Tucson, Arizona will proceed with the sole source negotiation with Copperstate Technologies. RFP# 678-072-03. Government-wide Numbered Notes – 22 applies except the response date is limited to 10 days vs. 45 days.
