Description

Work will consist of completing the design package (to include all construction drawings and schedules) and upon approval, the execution of the work as described in athe approved design package. Project execution will consist of installing a small electric cooling rooftop unit (RTU) and zone level electric duct heaters for the provision of heating and cooling to rooms 129, 128, and 123 on the basement level of the Main Hospital. All work shall be in accordance with the statement of work and drawings. Magnitude of construction project is between $25,000 and $100,000. Performance period is 60 calendar days from issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Solicitation is being issued under FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION. Applicable NAICS code for this project is 238220, with a size standard of $12 million dollars. Solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted through the electronic posting system (http://eps.gov/). Paper copies will not be provided. Contractors will be solely responsible for monitoring the Internet and obtaining the solicitation documents and any amendments. Interested offerors must ensure they are registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to receive award of a contract. Information to register can be found on the Internet at http://www.ccr2000.com or telephone 1-888-227-2423. The solicitation will be issued today, 03 September 2003.
