Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation SP4700-03-T-0043 is a Request for Quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular Acquisition of Commercial Items; (FAC 15); 25 August 2003. This solicitation is 100% Small Business Set-Aside and the associated NAICS code is 443112, size standard is $7.5M. The following items are being purchased: 2 Video Conference Centers consisting of 1 each - Polycom ViewStation FX H.323 premier compact videoconferencing system to include the following components: 1 each - PRI Module with T-1/J-1 Interface for FX or VS 4000; 1 each - Wide Angle Conversion Lens; 1 each - T1 CSU ACE; 2 each - 32-inch FD Wega Trinitron monitor; 2 each - Basic Videoconferencing Cart (Black); 1 each - End User Training for Polycom; 1 each – Installation; 1 each - VideoLabs Document Camera Pro VC with Scan Converter. One is for delivery to Hill Air Force Base, Utah and the other system to New Cumberland, Pennsylvania. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition. Offerors are to include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, with its offer. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes Or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items, applies to this. FAR clauses 52.219-6, 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.222-36, 52.222-37, 52.225-1, 52.225-13 and 52.232-33 apply to this solicitation. Offers are due 15 September 2003, 2:00 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time, Andrew T. McNamara Headquarters Complex, 8725 John J. Kingman Road, Suite 1145, Fort Belvoir, VA 22060-6220.
