- Description
- This requirement is a follow-on to existing directed 8(a)contract DTCG32-92-D-R00010. The incumbent contractor is Potomac Management Group, 510 King Street, Alexandria, VA 22314. The period of performance for this contract is September 26, 2002 through September 25, 2005 but it is anticipated that the remaining ceiling will only last through FY04. The NAICS code for this new requirement (DTCG32-04-R-R00010) is changed from 541990 to 561110. The size standard for NAICS 561110 is $6.0 million. Performance under this contract will take place at the contractor's site, the USCG Research and Development Center in Groton, CT, the USCG Headquarters in Washington DC and possible other locations not know at this time. The estimated level of effort for this requirement is a total of 460,118 hours spread over 10 years and several labor categories. The specific labor categories and estimated hours will be provided in the solicitation. It is anctipated that the solicitation for this requirement will be available at eps.gov approximately 15 October 2003. The due date for proposals identified in this announcement is only an approximate date. The actual due date for proposals will be identified in the solicitation document. The USCG Research and Development Center Contracting Office does not maintain a bidders' mailing list nor does it issue solicitations in paper form. Once the solicitaiton is posted, it can be accessed on an electronic posting system at the following website: http://www.eps.gov. The solicitation can be found by selecting "Department of Homeland Security Direct Reporting (DHS-DR)" and then selecting "United States Coast Guard (USCG)". Next select "locations" and finally select "Research and Development Center, Groton, CT".
