Description

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has a requirement to provide all labor, supervision, equipment and material necessary to perform all lawn care services under a performance based service contract at the National Weather Service, 5777 South Aviation Avenue, Charleston, SC. The work area covered by the specifications is approximately 1.5 acres, parts of which are occupied by buildings, roads, walks, and other paved surfaces. Services required under this contract include mowing, edging, pruning, fertilizing, and weed control. Period of Performance will be October 1, 2003 through September 30, 2004 with four one-year options. The proposed contract is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. Successful offeror will be required to register in the CCR database. All responsible sources may submit an offer that shall be considered by the agency. A copy of the solicitation shall be attached as a downloadable Word file on or about August 29, 2003. A diagram of the grounds layout for the facility can be obtained via written or faxed requests. Hard copies of the solicitation will only be provided in response to written or faxed requests received directly from the requestor. Telephone requests will not be honored. Requests for copies of the solicitation or the diagram may be faxed to (757) 441-3786. Offers received by September 19, 2003 will be considered for award. Award will be made on or about September 25, 2003. Numbered Note 1 applies. THIS MODIFICATION IS ISSUED TO CHANGE THE DUE DATE OF THE SOLICITATION TO SEPTEMBER 24, 2003.
