Description

The National Park Service, New England Regional Office, 15 State Street, Boston, MA 02109 intends to award a sole source fixed-price task order to Scenic Hudson, Inc. to perform activities in support of a Regional Center at Hyde Park, New York. The duties will include, but not be limited to, land acquisition, conservation easement negotiations; and associated land planning services. The period of performance for this action will start on or about 10/15/03 and end 3/31/06.The proposed contract action is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Developing alternate sources will incur costs exceeding the benefits of competition, however, interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, interested parties that believe they can meet these needs must furnish sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements no later than five days after the date of publication of this synopsis. All information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contact based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose to determine whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Interested parties may contact the Contract Specialist, Michael C.
