- This RFQ will only be available electronically. Quotes are due 18 September 2003, not later than 2:00 PM Central Daylight Savings Time. Site visits will be arranged at the request of individual contractors. Contact: Sue Tate at sue.tate@arnold.af.mil or fax (931)454-7330. A site visit is not a requirement to submit a quote. This requirement is for the design, build and installation of a reusable portable work platform. The platform shall cover an area approximately 470 sq ft with a design load of 50 pounds per sq ft. It shall be man portable and capable of being broken down and transported approximately 3 feet above lowest part of a 36+ diameter duct. The platform surface and supports shall conform to the floow and wall contours of the duct. Final fabrication of the platform shall be on-site at AEDC to ensure platform interfaces with ducting profile. An inspection of the platform components may be performed by the Government at the contractors+ plant prior to shipment. All equipment and documentation will be inspected by the Government upon delivery to AEDC to ensure it meets specified requirements. Final inspection of will be conducted by the Goverhment after installation. Contract shall warrant the platform for at least six (6) months after being placed in service.
