Description

Sandia National Laboratory has developed software designed to perform simulation of analog electronic circuits. The software consists of schematic capture, simulation, and post processing analysis components. The simulation component is based largely on SPICE technology and contains enhancements for features of interest to Sandia, mainly targeted at simulating large circuits. The other components are Sandia designed and developed with the same emphasis of simulating large circuits. This software is intended for engineers working to develop new electronic designs and to test modifications of existing designs. The software allows engineers to graphically enter a design, analyze the behavior of the design, and modify the design to iterate toward an optimal design. It can also be used to characterize existing designs and analyze how these might fail if modified. Sandia is seeking partnerships to commercialize this technology.
