Description

Sandia National Laboratories is actively soliciting industry partners to license, manufacture, and sell a uniquely designed miniature modular high voltage power supply system. The design adds voltage regulation, current sinking, current monitoring, and an electronic float to high voltage DC-DC converters. The system will efficiently power devices at high voltages (5000+ volts) and low currents (30-500 ?Amp) with low power consumption. The design provides a constant current mode, robustness to breakdown, and extremely efficient operation, all in a small package. We believe these unique features make it an ideal low-cost solution for scientific and engineering applications that require robust high voltage power, regulated voltage, current monitoring, and a float capability. We believe it will find applications in many areas, including drug delivery systems, medical applications, portable detection and analysis devices, and a host of electronic devices in both existing and emerging markets.
