- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a request for quotation (RFQ), F38601-03-Q-S314. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-15. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 337214. Only faxed or e-mailed quotations will be accepted. Submissions must include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certification ? Commercial Items, name, address, cage code, DUNS number, and telephone number with its offer. In addition, the following provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial; FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation ? Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items; and FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items. Award will be made to the quotation which offers the best value to the government based on an integrated assessment of price, quality, performance, and delivery time. This procurement is for a 100? x 100? metal storage building with all required anchor bolts and unloading at Shaw AFB. Delivery and unloading of the building is required. Verification that structure meets applicable building codes is required. This building will be located in a hurricane prone region. As a minimum it WILL meet the following requirements: Collateral loads: gravity 1.00 psf , uplift 0.00 psf Live load: (reducible) 20.00 psf Wind load: 100 mph Wind Exposure: B Ground snow: 10.00 psf Seismic hazard/Use group: Group 1 Basic wind pressure: 15.24 psf All materials shall meet appropriate ASTM designation All offers are due no later than 12 Sep 2003 at 5:00 p.m. EDT.
