Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number F13CEV32410400 is hereby issued as a Request For Quote (RFQ). The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-19. This acquisition is under Standard Industrial Code 3824, with a small business size standard of 500 employees. This acquisition is set-aside, 100% for small business. Provide the following item: 2 each, Gas Plasma Screen, NEC Plasmasyn 61 MP1A (p/n PSM-61XM1A), or equal. 2 each, NEC PX61M1A, 61MP1 Ultra Slim Flat Plasma Wall/Ceiling Mount (p/n PSM-615F-1), or equal. The following clauses and provisions are incorporated and are to remain in full force in any resultant purchase order: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors?Commercial Items (Mar 2000). It is incorporated by reference and applies to this acquisition. Award will be based on price alone. Each offeror shall include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certification?Commercial Items (Feb 2000) with their offer. FAR 52.212-3, Alternate I and III, must also be completed. FAR 52.212-4 (May 1999), Contract Terms and Conditions?Commercial Items, is incorporated by reference and applies to this acquisition with the addition of DFARS 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration (Mar 1998). The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders?Commercial Items (Aug 2000) applies to this acquisition and is incorporated by reference. DFARS Clause 252.212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions Of Commercial Items (Mar 2000) is included by reference with the following applicable clauses. DFARS 252.225-7001, Buy American Act and Balance of Payments Program (41 U.S.C. 10a-10d, E.O. 10582). A Firm-Fixed Price purchase order will be issued in writing.
