Description

NA USMA requires that ageing bound paper items be reformated to digital form and be recreated as a photo preservation copy. In many cases the items are from 50 to 150 years old and often consist of paper that has become brittle dur to paper acidification. D igital copies are to be produced according to the requirements and at lease one bound facsimile copy on acid free paper is to be made of each item. Quanity of 10,000 pages, approximately 9,000 of which is text and 1,000 images. The average size of an ite m shall be 250 pages up to 8 x 11. Approximately 1000 items are likely to be considered oversize. Award is anticipated to be made on a best value basis. Company shall have recent experience in performing this work on bound paper items of same age. The NAICS is 561439 with a size standard of $6M. This will be a total small business set aside. The estimated issue date is 8 Sept.
