- NA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are b eing requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This synopsis/solicitation is issued as a Request For Proposal. We intend to obtain six Microwave Radio Systems from L3 Communications Corporation, 9020 Balboa Avenue, San Diego, CA 92123. T he procurement is sole source pursuant to FAR 6.302-1(a)(2). The contract will consist of seven line items. CLIN 0001 Transmitter 3DS3 INTFC., 4.4-5.0 GHZ Band, Part number 760-003304-1313, 6 each; CLIN 0002 Receiver 3DS3, INTFC., 4.4-5.0 GHZ Band, Part nu mber 760-003304-4313, 6 each; CLIN 0003 Antenna REFL, 4 foot Port, Part number 166-0037, 6 each; CLIN 0004 Antenna FD, Part number 166-0044, 6 each; CLIN 0005 Cable Assembly, Power Cord, AC TCMS, Weatherproof, Part number 137-0618-001, 18 each, CLIN 0006 S trap, Tie Down, Quick Disconnect, 55 inches in length, Part number 119-0831-002, 24 each; CLIN 0007 Cable Assembly, RF 24 inches in length, Part number 137-1213-001, 18 each. The requested items are proprietary to L3 Communication. These systems transmit and receive video, audio, digital and Multiple E3 or DS3 data and must be compatible with equipment which we presently utilize. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 200 1-15 dated 25 Aug 03. A firm fixed price contract will be awarded as a result of this synopsis. The applicable NAICS code is 334515 with a size standard of 500 employees. Your price shall be FOB destination. Inspection and acceptance shall be at destin ation. We prefer to make payment by VISA credit card. From the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), the following provisions and clauses are applicable to this solicitation: FAR 52.212-1, FAR 52.212-3, FAR 52.212-4, FAR 52.212-5 (52.203-6 Alt I, 52.222- 19, 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-35, 52.222-37, 52.232-33, 52.232-36).
