Description

NA The U.S. Army Robert Morris Acquisition Center intends to issue a draft request for proposal on or about 10 September 2003 for Low Rate Initial Production (LRIP) ENVG systems. Awards (from proposals solicited at a later date) will be made to the two best value proposals determined to be the most beneficial to the Government. Each contract will have follow-on production options. The systems procured under the two contracts are planned for use in a Government Development Test and Limited User Test to down- select to a single ENVG design. The Government may then exercise a production option. The Army Acquisition Objective (AAO) for the ENVG program is estimated between 125,000 to 150,000 systems. Contractors are encouraged to review the Statement of Object ives, Performance Specifications and anticipated evaluation criteria and submit comments and/or questions with regard to these draft documents no later 14 days after issuance of the draft solicitation. All coments are to be sent via email to jeffrey.pierc e@sbccom.apgea.army.mil. ALL INFORMATION CONTAINED IN THE DRAFT SOLICITATION ARE IN DRAFT FORM AND ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE. It is the potential offerors responsibility to monitor the Army Signle Face to Industry web-site on a regular basis for any updates to these draft documents. Other draft documents will be posted when available. THIS IS NOT A FORMAL SYPOSIS FOR A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. NO PROPOSALS ARE REQUIRED AT THIS TIME.
