- Description
- Currently, the United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) has an approved requirement to procure a quantity of 5.56MM assault rifles as part of the SCAR program. As part of the Market Research for this item the government is seeking industry comments on a draft specification. The draft specification is entitled "Draft Performance Specification, SOF Combat Assault Rifle Light? and can be found at the Internet cite listed below under solicitation number N00164-03-R-4822. Please provide to Mr. John Pfender written industry comments by no later than 12:00PM (Noon) on Thursday, 18 September 2003. Although facsimile replies will be accepted, the preferred method of reply is via e-mail.
