- The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) is soliciting sources to furnish all labor, equipment and materials to repair terrazzo floor and grind floor must be LEVEL AND FLAT then grind, hone and polish wavy floor surface will be unacceptable, this work will be done on the terrazzo floor in the Main Building 1st floor, in order to coordinate security access issues to the Bureau of Engraving and Printing Facility, contractors must be located within a two (2) to three (3) hour drive of the Bureau of Engraving and Printing Washington DC Facility in order to considered for this job. Charges in permitted access may occur with little notice so contractors outside the local areas defined above can not be considered. (SEE ATTACHED STATEMENT OF WORK). The simplified acquisition procedures set forth in FAR 12 and 13 shall be used. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation. This notice constitutes the only solicitation; a written request for quotation will not be issued. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business (see numbered note 1). The applicable North American Industry Classification system (NAICS) code 327122, with a small business size standard is 500 employees. The request for quotation (RFQ) number is RFQ-03-0600. Delivery shall be made within 30 days after receipt of purchase order. Deliver terms are F.O.B. Destination to Bureau of Engraving & Printing, 14th and C Street S W, Washington D C 20228. The resulting purchase order shall be firm fixed price. The basis for award shall be price. All interested small business is requested to submit a written quotation, which will be considered by the agency. Quotation may be submitted on a SF1449, SF18 or on company letterhead. Quotations shall include the RFQ number, the proposed unit price, the proposed extended price, any prompt payment discount terms, company name, point of contact, address, phone number, fax number, tax identification number. DUNS numbers, size status (that is small business, disadvantaged business or woman owned business). If this item is available under GSA Schedule, please provide the schedule number. Quotations are due by 2:30 P.M. on September 15, 2003.
