Description

Historic Door Restoration at the U.S. Post Office & Courthouse located at 271 Cadman Plaza East, Brooklyn, NY 11201. Project No. NNY95407, Solicitation No. GS-02P-02-DTC-0028. Work can be summarized as follows: The work includes the restoration of wood doors from the interior of a historic building, and the finishing of new doors. A major renovation/adaptive reuse of the building is currently underway and will run concurrently with the work described in the solicitation. Working in coordination with the current on-site General Contractor performing the major renovation/adaptive reuse work will be required. Estimated cost range for this project will be between $100,000.00 and $ 250,000.00. This procurement is being Set-Aside for Small Businesses Only. Bidding documents will be available on or about September 17, 2003. This solicitation includes Sensitive But Unclassified (SBU) building information. SBU documents provided under this solicitation are intended for use by authorized users only. In support of this requirement, GSA requires bidders/offerors to exercise reasonable care when handling documents relating to SBU building information per the solicitation. For reasons of security and before release of SBU information, the requester of the Solicitation and Drawings must complete and sign "Document Security Notice to Prospective Bidders/Offerors". In addition the requester must provide the following information: 1. Copy of Business License 2. Company's Dunn and Bradstreet Number 3. Valid Tax Identification Number 4. A valid state driver's license for person(s) picking up SBU Documents. After verification of the preceding information, the requester will be designated as an authorized user and copy of the Solicitation and Drawings will be released to the requester. A copy of the "Document Security Notice to Prospective Bidders/Offerors" may be obtained by request from the Contracting Officer.
