- Description
- The U.S. Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command, Armaments Research, Development and Engineering Center (TACOM-ARDEC), Picatinny Arsenal, NJ, intends to issue a competitive Request for Quotation (RFQ), Solicitation Number DAAE30-03-Q-0529, for two (2) each Air-Cooled Temperature Test Chambers; one (1) of the chambers shall be fitted with a humidity control system and water purifier. In addition, each chamber shall be equipped with an electronic programming and control unit, as well as a product temperature control – i.e. additional temperature sensor, suitable for direct attachment to test specimen, capable of providing feedback to control unit. The contractor will be responsible for delivery, unloading, and installation of each piece of equipment delivered. In addition, the contractor shall supply operational manuals, training for the delivered equipment, one-year warranty, and a concurrent one-year maintenance agreement. Anticipated delivery will be 30 days after contract award. When released, the RFQ will detail all requirements and delivery schedule. It is the Governments intention to award a firm fixed price purchase order for commercial items as defined by FAR Part 12. SUBJECT TO RECEIPT OF FUNDING. A copy of the Request for Quotation will be available on the Internet, on or about, September 9, 2003, at http://procnet.pica.army.mil . No Hardcopy Request for Quotations will be issued.
