- This is a solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format of the FAR 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will be issued. Solicitation No. M00318-03-Q-0630 is issued as a Request For Quotation (RFQ). The provisions and clauses in the RFQ are those in effect through FAC 97-27. The Regional Contracting Office, Marine Corps Base Hawaii intends on procuring a Firm-Fixed price contract for “Sports Officiating” for the items as follows: Youth Programs consisting of basketball, soccer, in-line hockey, baseball/softball, football and volleyball and for the Adult Program basketball, football, softball soccer, volleyball, basketball softball, volleyball, and soccer. The period to commence 01 October 2003 through 30 September 2004. The NAICS and the small business size standard for this procurement is 611620 and $5 MIL respectively. All responsible sources may submit an offer. All contractors submitting a offer are reminded that you must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database to be considered for award with the Department of Defense contracting agency. All qualified responsible business sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose quote conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The Government intends to award a single contract resulting from this solicitation. The following factors shall be used to evaluate quotations: 1) Technical (capability of the services offered to meet the agency needs) and 2) Price. The Government will evaluate offers for award purposes by validating that the needs of agency be met as specified in the Statement of Work. Solicitations will be available on or around 09/08/03. Quotations are due no later than 18 September 2003, 1200 HST, to be received at the following email to: skellingtondb@mcbh.usmc.mil.
