Description
The purpose of this amendment to solicitation SP4700-03-T-0043 is to respond to vendor questions received to date. Question #1: Would you please include a more detailed description and or model number of the VideoLabs Doc Cam Scan Converter you are requesting. Are you aware that the new camera on the FXs includes the Wide Angle View? Answer: Doc Cam Scan Converter ClearOne part number 910-171-011. Yes we are aware of the Wide Angle View. Question #2: I am interested in bidding this solicitation. What do I need to do? Answer: Follow the instructions in the FedBizOps announcement. The items and quantities as well as destinations have been identified. You need to price out two systems. Fill out the Representations and Certifications in FAR 52.212-3 (available on-line at http://www.arnet.gov/far/) and submit your proposal to my attention no later than 15 September 2003, 2:00 p.m. See the end of this for additional mailing/faxing information. Question #3: Can an offeror "or equal" on the Monitors, CSUs and Document cameras? Answer: No. We need to stick with the equipment that is posted because it matches other locations configuration and we do not want anything which will interfere with our ability to communicate using the VTC. Question #4: Is the training you are requesting the standard overview training that is done during installation or are you looking for something else? If so, please describe. Answer: We are looking for basic training on how to make the system operate. We want to train several individuals in the operation but it does not need to be extensive or exhausting training. Simple, straight forward, and to the point. Training at installation is acceptable. Offers are due 15 September 2003, 2:00 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time with mailing to Defense Logistics Agency, Andrew T. McNamara Headquarters Complex, 8725 John J. Kingman Road, Suite 1145, Stop 6220, Fort Belvoir, VA 22060-6220 or facsimile 703-767-1172. Please contact Ms. Brenda Geist (brenda.geist@dla.mil) for information regarding the solicitation.
