- Synopsis MAINTENANCE SUPPORT FOR AGING EQUIPMENT The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Aviation System Standards, Resource Management Staff, AVN-27 requires hardware and software maintenance support services for the FAA’s current Automated Instrument Approach Procedure System (IAPA). Solicitation documents are located on the FAA's Contracting Opportunities Home page at www.asu.faa.gov. This system was originally purchased in 1992. The support services to be provided include maintenance support and field repair service on the existing IAPA systems, including the system hardware, software, network, and field technical support where required. The current list of hardware/software (much of this equipment is obsolete): 1. SYSTEM WIDE HARDWARE TO BE MAINTAINED: Indigo2 Impact 10000 Workstations & file servers, which includes 2GB system disk, 1 (1GB) additional disk, and a floptical disk drive, with a total of 193 each: External Hard drives, 23 ea; Parity Tape, CDROM, HD Subsystem, 29 ea: Qstar 10 GB Jukebox, 1 EA: Qstar 21 GB Jukebox, 1 EA: Qstar HD650M, 12 EA: Origin-200 Raid system, 1 EA: 4 GB/8BGB SE F/N SCSI Int. 4mm Dat-DDS2 Tape Drives, 3 EA. 2. SOFTWARE TO BE MAINTAINED--Sybase: Sybase Direct CONNECT, 1 ea; Sybase Replication Server, 12 ea; Autometric Software to include: Spatial Query Server; Sybase Server/Client; Edge Developers Tool kit. SGI: SGI Licenses; Clearcase (CaseVision)--Version 2.6.4; Workshop--Version 2.6.4; Compilers/dev options--Version 7.1; Networker Version 7.1; Tool.H++; STL. Other: RogueWave; Netscape--Version 4.04; Z.mail--Version 4.0.1; Synchronize--Version 2.0.7. All software is maintained at AMI-200c and is Redistributed to each of the remote sites. LOCATION AND QUANTITIES OF EQUIPMENT TO BE MAINTAINED: Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center, Oklahoma City, in four (4) separate buildings, Workstations-157 ea, External Hard drives-23ea; Parity Box-9 ea, Origin 200 RAID-1ea. REGIONS-located at nine (9) sites to include New England BOS FPO, 12 New England Executive Park, Burlington, MA 01803 with 3 ea. Workstations and 1 ea Parity box. Eastern NYC FPO, 1 Cross Island Plaza Room 115, Rosedell, NY 11422-1484 with 2 each Workstations and 1 Paritiy Box. Southern ATL FPO, 1701 Columbia Ave., College Park, Georgia 30337 with 6 each Workstations and 1 each Parity Box. Great Lakes CHI FPO, O'Hare Lake Office Center, 2300 East Devon Ave., Des Plains, Illinois 60016 with 3 each Workstations and 1 each Parity Box. Central MKC FPO, 601 East 12th Street, Federal Building, Kansas City, Missouri 64106 with 2 each workstations and 1 each Parity Box, South West FTW FPO, 2601 Meacham Blvd., Fort Worth, Texas 78137-4298 with 5 each workstations and 1 each parity box. Alaska ANC FPO, 222 West 7th Avenue #14, Anchorage, Alaska 99513 with 3 workstations and 1 parity box. North West Mountain SEA FPO, 1601 Lind Avenue, SW, Renton, Washington 98055 with 5 workstations and 1 parity box. Western Pacific LAX FPO, 15000 Aviation Boulevard, Hawthorne, California 90261 with 4 workstations and 1 parity box. OTHER SITES--FAA Headquarters, National Flight Data Center (NFDC), ATA-100 Rm 626, 800 Independence Ave.S.W., Washington D.C. 20591 with one workstation and one parity box. Flight Standards AFS-420 (Washington D.C.), Rm 835, 800 Independence Ave.S.W., Washington D.C. 20591 with one workstation and one parity box. National Ocean Service (NOS), Aeronautical Charting Division, 1505 East-West Highway Room 4531, SSMC4, mail code N/CG3151, Silver Spring, Maryland 20910-3281 with one workstation and one parity box.
