- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a request for quotation (RFQ), F38601-03-Q-S185. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-15. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 423840. Only faxed or e-mailed quotations will be accepted. Submissions must include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certification – Commercial Items, name, address, cage code, DUNS number, and telephone number with its offer. In addition, the following provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial; FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation – Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items; and FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items. Award will be made to the quotation which offers the best value to the government based on an integrated assessment of price, quality, performance and delivery time. This procurement is for a NABCO Model 32 Explosive storage container or equivalent. NOTE: Be advised that funds are not currently available for this requirement. The Government’s obligation under this request for quote is contingent upon availability of funds. Quotes must be valid through 30 Sep 03. All offers are due no later than 12 Sep 2003 at 5:00 p.m. EST. Quotations may be submitted via e-mail to michael.corp@shaw.af.mil or faxed to 803-895-6020 or called in at 803-895-6009. NOTE: For payment purposes offerors must be registered in the Central Contract Registry prior to receiving any award.
